Anyone think we can win at Arsenal?

A few weeks ago Gold and Sullivan were claiming we were going to give the big boys a run for their money, everyone was on a high after signing Payet and all looked rosy.
Since then the next few signings we need have stalled, we have been put out of Europa league and suddenly according to the media we are lambs to the slaughter at the Emirates. You can get 11/1 on us winning there that is how little chance we been given. In a one off game, start of the season are we REALLY THAT POOR??
Does anyone out there think we can actually win this game??

Well I said I just wanted to see us go there and be brave (like Swansea were the day before at CFC) and if it was a draw or a loss it did not matter... to be fair it's probably the most comfortable victory (away) I can ever remember

Might be a good idea if a few read through this post to see that actually a few do know what they are talking about,had a little gut feeling but nothing like the first time we played there and won!

I've got a West Ham win, newcastle v saints draw and liverpool win at 95s
Got one large on it so I hope liverpool have improved over the summer

Just had a horrible realisation that Jenkinson is ineligible and O'Brien is going to play right back. Nailed on they'll play Walcott out wide against O'Brien, if that's the case.
I hate this "can't play against parent club" rule.

Depends who is available at the back for us.
If we have a slow defensive unit, then we will sit deep to counter the pace of Arsenal.
I hope we push up and take a chance and try to bully their midfield and back four.

As long as we don't give Arsenal too much respect and be in their faces from the off we have a chance. They don't like it up em!

I'm sure I heard yesterday that Norwich haven't won an opening day fixture for something like 13 years but, obviously, not all of their's will have been PL.

I think if we sit back then Arsenal will pick us off as they have a lot of quality footballers who are more than capable of doing that.
The one major weakness they have, when you compare to Chelsea or Man City, is their defence. I seriously believe if we attack them a bit today we'll get some joy because defence is probably the weakest area of their team. If we sit back then we'll get picked off and get beat 3 or 4.
